One of the Pillars of our Practice here at The Architect Builders Collaborative, Paul Dowsett, discusses the Pocket Change Project in this latest CBC article.

Much of our work is about facilitating change and making the transition to a Green economy. The construction and operation of our buildings in Canada contributes a huge part of our global warming carbon emissions. In addition to our one-on-one work with Clients to make their homes and workplaces net-zero and carbon-friendly, we actively support community scale projects.

The Pocket Change Project is one such initiative that has been in the news lately. You can hear our own Paul Dowsett on Metro Morning explain how this neighbourhood has come together to help each other lower their carbon footprint. Spoiler alert – it’s all about getting off the gas!

Paul and the Pocket Change have also been featured in the Toronto Star, and CBC The National, The World at Six, Metro Morning and this, in the National Post, about air-source heat pumps.

Are you interested in transforming your home or being a changemaker in your community? If so, this artcile will be right up your alley. Read all about Paul Dowsett’s views on net zero architecture and how to implement it in your own home.
